How Does the PRESAFE® Mercedes-Benz System Work?

Once a possible accident is sensed, the Mercedes-Benz PRESAFE® system takes the following steps to protect you and your passengers:

• For maximum crash protection, the front head restraints adjust for maximum crash protection to prevent passenger injuries.
• To prevent debris from entering the cabin of your vehicle, the sunroof will automatically close if a rollover is possible.
• Tension in the front safety belts is increased to protect occupants from injury.
