The Luxury Tax Assistance Program at Star

This very special, limited-time incentive program offers you significant savings on qualifying in-stock models to offset the Canadian Government's Federal Luxury Tax. The $17,500 rebate applies to the following qualifying in-stock vehicles: AMG GT 53, AMG GLE 63S, S-Class, and all-electric EQS sedan and SUV models. An $8,000 rebate applies to the in-stock AMG CLS53.

The Federal Government Luxury Tax came into effect on Sept 1, 2022. Vehicles sold with pre-tax retail sales prices over $100,000 after January 1, 2022 are subject to a luxury tax calculated at the lesser of 20% of the value above $100,00 for passenger cars and 10% of the full value of the car, in addition to HST.
